Well ,
I realized that the 5 4 3 2 1 at the beginning of my last post was actually supposed to be a post about leaving for FL with the horses. Nope negative nancy is in high gear. Or maybe I am Anxious Annie who has been hanging out with Bratty Betty too much..

Yep I did it again , I’m having one of those stages where I <i>can’t</i> ride to save my life and therefore I hate the thought of riding all together. <b> baby steps <b/> Two words I do not understand. I don’t like being okay , mediocre , average or worse I really hate sucking … which is all I do these days… seriously
The Farrier came today
Its usually a lot more hectic with all of the horses coming and going, I think we get 18 of the horses done at once and only three or four of them are plain trims. Everyone else is hot shoed. I am being asked a million questions by a million people and it’s super tough for me to one: focus and two: know the answer to any of these questions… Sorry I don’t know who gets what done to...

I am the only groom going down to Florida at the beginning of January which is a big thing. Like REALLY big considering where I was before. Not only will it be my first time grooming (employed) but I’ve also been giving the pleasurable job of packing everything to go down south as well… lots of responsibility that’s for sure

2 weeks of flat work and on to the jump school
The little mare is much more honest now than she used to be however so unpredictable and weak. No idea how I can ride her any better yet my mistakes become quite evident in her progress. I am happy not to be riding her like I used to (as often) but it makes our jump schools much more difficult to get in sync

I’m back . Updates:
I am now a working student riding 1-2 horses a day , mucking , turn-out , grooming , tacking up
Finished 8th overall in our division after just three shows!
Am going to FL to Groom in January
Am looking for a horse to buy :D
Can’t wait!!!!!!

Three amazing shows and I feel like I would go back and do it all over again if I could. Each ride is a step in the right direction and I couldn’t be happier with my progress with Lenny. <3

It's almost time to show again
which made me realize I never wrote even a single thing about the last show. Last show was super , my goal was to make it around no refusals and I did! Except for the first day of schooling Lenny was phenomenal. Everyone was super to my confidence, I could not have asked for a better first show , some competition being pretty stiff. :) I learned a lot of new things as well, created friendships...

My field boots are so comfy ,
The first pair I’ve ever broken in without blood or tears I swear. As for my rides this week so far they have been good. I schooled inside to work on my changes and to get him moving up off my leg. That was pretty much my first completely successful day of trying to get changes. I think I only missed two. not bad. My Second ride this week I rode in the outdoor , many more distractions...
Just Finally Recovering
From two back to back lessons on Lenny. Thursday was a jump day where we focused on rhythm as well as creating a balance between pace and speed… two totally different things. The course was a bit more challenging compared to some other lessons, I can’t remember the last time I did a roll back. Some jumps were awesome , able to find the spot on distance in and out. Seeing everybody's photos on Facebook and
craving another ride soon before I go crazy…
Last week
was the beginning of boot camp, lots of no stirrups work and two-point. Looking back at pictures I was a lot more solid than I remember. Here’s hoping if my mom comes up to watch me this week she can get more footage, I am so happy with many parts of my position I just know it’s a long ways away from where I’d like it too. luurvvvving Lenny though , such a cutie
